Supporting Our Maine U.S. Military Members, Active, Retired & Veteran
The Marino Project was established in 2021 to help give back and support Maine Military families, and all of the sacrifices they've made and continue to make. Our mission is to be an organization that has significant impact on the incredible Men and Women of the U.S. Military here in Maine. In partnership with Home Roofing Solutions - Maine's Professional Roofing Company, this organization will continue to grow and find ways to help our Maine military members for years to come.
Our cornerstone military support campaign involves a partnership with Home Roofing Solutions and their "Roofs For Troops" New Roof Payback program. U.S. Military members, active, retired or veteran, can qualify for a chance to win up to a $10,000 payback on their new roof when they contract for services with Home Roofing Solutions. The winning military member is chosen at a yearly luncheon taking place around Veteran's Day every November. Learn more about "Roofs For Troops" and our 2022 recipient!

Who Is David Marino?
David Marino, Gunnery sergeant, United States Marine Corps/ret., enlisted in the Marines at age 17. During deployment in Iraq, he suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and has since dealt with health complications including spinal injuries and seizures. Because of his own history, Marino is committed to helping other veterans deal with the physical and emotional damages of war. He strives to remind other soldiers, "You never walk alone."
